The May long weekend was busy spent in the garden and entertaining outdoors, and the only day we had free to take a nice little hike was the only day it rained! Good thing a few little sprinkles doesn’t scare us!

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Koa, a young PWD with a lot of energy and exuberance! His parents wanted to capture a few shots of his Lion Clip before getting his summer trim. After going through some stressful times, some bittersweet times, and some unsure moments, we finally got here… exactly where we need to be. You see, I just found out that I will finally be able to do what I have been hoping for a very long time – work so close to home that I don’t have to make a compromise between work and family; I can do both!
So with that, I decided to do a photoshoot of my boy. Today he actually wanted to go out in the rain (which is rare – he is such a prissy), so my wet water dog photoshoot is a celebration of sorts; a celebration of the balance and harmony we all hope for. And of course a celebration of sheer happiness! Because there is nothing else that I see other than that when I look at this face!
Cheers!
To Happiness, to Harmony, and to my Heart Dog!
